most of us in the upper 50s to low 60s. we have san francisco around 56 and los gatos some of the cooler spots. around the monterey bay and inland, we have clouds, even drizzle here and temperatures upper 50s to near 60 degrees. let's talk about our highlights. lots to talk about because the weather's going to change a lot in the next 24 to 48 hours. today more clouds. we'll have cooler weather today, probably the coolest day in the forecast and the drizzle will hang around the coast and parts of san francisco could be dealing with that also. drying and clearing from north to south as high pressure moves in and the cold front moves to our south that brought us the drizzle. warmer, brighter and drier with that high pressure for the weekend. east bay valleys, in the 90s a couple days ago. upper 60s with the san ramon valley and livermore all the way to brentwood. under a partly sunny sky, mid to upper 60s across the board on the east bay shore with oakland 63 degrees. down in the south bay, partly sunny also with temperatures

that is gonna do it for us. thank you for joining us. i'm carolyn tyler with lisa argent. the next newscast is at 5. our real national pastime? saving money. and like baseball people love their stats. i started bringing my lunch to work -- 50 bucks a week in my pocket. here's a good one: state farm insures 40 million drivers. more than geico and progressive combined. i saved because i'm accident-free. of course, with so many ways to save including discounts of up to 40% having that many customers shouldn't be a surprise. so ask a neighbor about state farm then call an agent at 1-800-state-farm or go online.

use the sidewalk. again a perfect example that priorities given to moving vehicles verses pedestrian safety. in that area people with handicapped and mobility impairment have to travel long distances to cross the street. gridlock in san francisco is more of a day-to-day chore
